As the 2nd/3rd capacity building training commences today 2nd February 2015 , am happy to be involved in this training as it will greatly improve my knowledge in carrying out our SRHR activities in various communities. It is important here that I relate my knowledge of capacity building to the community:
Capacity building as applied to the community is the ability for them to manage their own affairs and work collectively to foster and sustain positive changes applied in public health. It has to do with building the strength of the community for programs sustainability and ownership.
In Traffina foundation we are involved basically working in communities to promote reproductive health and it is important we leverage on the skills to be obtained and develop follow up/feedback processes that ensures sustainability and ownership of our programs in the communities.
Happy me! Better me!! Better Nigeria!!!
